Very pretty design, Max. Love the blue background - it compliments the white of the daffodils. Perhaps a little colour or shading on the petals might define them a touch more - what do you think? I think you have done the centres really well. This would make a lovely card as it is simple but very effective. Keep doing the flowers!

Lovely Max. I agree with everything Thea has said, specially that it would make a lovely card.

Beautiful Max are they your own Daffodils?

Lovely and bright, love those white daffs with the red centres - and they have a lovely fragrance, flowers I find difficult to do in watercolour as seem to overdo it on washes and then lose the brightness of the paper

Very nice, I agree with Thea re the bit more shading. Lovely shapes.

A lovely bright cheerful painting. Agree, would make a lovely card.

I'm being pedantic but aren't these narcissi rather than daffs? I agree with the above. I can see shading on the petals so maybe it's just that the photo is a bit light. Rather than filling in the background around te leaves, have you thought of painting the background fully then painting the leaves over the top in a transparent yellow so that you'd get green over the blue? It may be easier.

Thank you all your generous comments........Yes i agree Thea, Sylvia & Carole it does need a bit more shading but it was my first attempt at Daffodils........Yes Patsy they are from our own garden ......Thank you Thea, Sylvia & Val for saying they would make a lovely card.....Yes Norah they do have a lovely scent.......Thank you Diana for your most valid advice i will keep this in mind for future paintings.
