These are lovely, Max. Beautiful colours and lovely complimentary background. I think you have found a real forte in flower painting, so lets see a lot more. Well done indeed.

I really like the open pink fuschia, so well done.

Fushias are very difficult to paint, just as swee peas. You have done well. Only wish that you would have a third blue coming down half way between the other 2 blues. You would have a good balance.

Hello Max, Got your message. Have looked in and will go now to plan a reply to you request for comments.

Hello Max, Have never painted fuchsias’ as I haven’t had time when they have hung from the baskets outside the front door. I suppose I should even if only from photographs. Yours are nice but I think I would paint with more wetness beginning with a wash of the lightest tone in the flower, allow it to dry and then re-wet each petal or area in turn and strengthen the tone as required. You will then be able to avoid the hard lines at the edges where colours or tones change. Fuchsias always remind me of little ballerina’s. I can’t think why I haven’t painted them but will try to very soon. Again, I hope that this helps you along Max although I wish I could come and show you how I would do it. Good luck and please let me know how you get on. Looking forward to your next flower painting. Hope that you and Betty are well.

Thank you Carole Beatrice Thea & Maureen for your kind comments, i agree with you Beatrice another blue would balance the painting more. Maureen thank you for your detailed instruction on how to enhance the painting, i have printed your instuctions off & will use it for future referance......bless you.

Hi Max can't give any technical comments...this is new for you and you have done a really good job...perhaps a bule one would have balanced it but congratulations on a lovely painting

Yes Patsy i agree about putting an extra blue flower in it would have balanced the painting.......thank you for your kind comment.

Lovely delicate work, Max.
