This is amazing. The whole composition is wonderful. I love the little scene at the bottom and the way it tells a story. You are one very clever lady!

This one had a special meaning to it, i did it for a dear lady of 87 she used to ride horses in her youth & loved it, so i gave her this as a christmas present. I really loved doing this one Thea & was pleased with the end result.

This is so special. How do you go about producing a picture using this method.

Thank you for your kind comments Pam. The method i use is a tool like a tooth pick, you scratch the black surface to reveal either gold, silver, or bronze below the black, if you scratch a line in the wrong direction the whole effect is spoilt and you have to discard it, (which has happened to me on many occasion.

Betty this is wonderful you must be very patient the old Shire are a dying breed now

This is a stuning piece of work, i love all of these scratch foils, but this one is just equisite.

Thank you Patsy & Irene, i loved doing this one it is one of my favourite's. My father was born on a farm where they bred horses & i visited it in my younger day's, it is still owned by my father's family & is run by my cousin who i am in touch with.

This is absolutely beautiful. I tried this technique years ago but couldn't get anywhere near this standard. I know how difficult it is.

Thank you Diana for your kind comment...... yes it is difficult to do but i (Betty) enjoy doing them very much, I am in the middle of an elephant one at the moment.

exceptional. My mother used to buy me scraperboard when I was little & I remember the frustration when I made a mistake

Thank you Jenny for your kind comment, yes i have made a few mistakes & have put some in the bin many a time.
