Typical of your imagination, and also typical that you so rarely get comments .... I can't begin to imagine why not! This has atmosphere entirely suited to the subject. Undershaw ought to be saved - hope the campaign succeeds.

Undershaw in Surrey is the former home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and was built in 1897 to a design by the great man himself. I hope I have created a sense of mystery in this painting, befitting of the home of the creator of Sherlock Holmes. There is a campaign attempting to preserve this house for the nation - please give them your support: www.saveundershaw.com Mixed media (pen, ink wash, gouache and wax resist) on Bockingford watercolour paper 22" x 15" www.cobbybrook.co.uk
