Very effective sky again. Love the colours.

Dramatic and powerful painting. A place I've always meant to visit, but, though it's not so far away, never have. Did you ever read Mervyn Peake's "Mr Pye"? It's based on this area, and should inspire you to fresh efforts!

This is great, smashing colours, especially like the pink, really smashing painting.

The narrow strip of water between Sark (on the left) and Brechou (on the right) and Moie du Gouliot in the middle is called the Gouliot Passage. Very strong currents combined with towering cliffs combine to make this a dramatic and dangerous Channel Islands location, testing the seafaring skills to the limit of those that attempt to pass through... Acrylic on canvas 20" x 16"
