This dramatic limestone ravine not far from the picturesque Dales village of Malham was formed by glacier meltwaters. The overhanging limestone cliffs are over 100m high and the location has attracted and inspired painters for centuries, including JMW Turner, James Ward and John Piper. Pen and ink, ink wash and oil pastel on 200gsm watercolour paper.
