What a great name for a river that is; never encountered it before. Like your strong painting, as usual, and the cool colouring.

This delightfully picturesque Dales church is situated on a bend in the River Skirfare. The tower dates from the 15th century, but the rest of the church dates from the 1840s, built upon Norman foundations. Painted on location. Pen, brush and ink wash with wax resist on gesso-primed watercolour paper. 11" x 15"
