'Treasurer's House, York' Tucked away behind the well-known York Minster can be found this historc house, now owned by the National Trust. As the name suggests it was the home of the treasurers of York Minster, from medieval times up to 1547, after which the house had various private owners. There are the remains of a Roman road in the cellar and the house allegedly has numerous ghosts! Painted on the spot in mixed media.
