Wonderful work Mark!

Lovely picture, Mark.

Great handling of a very busy scene Mark. Top notch work.

Excellent work

Masterful work ! To take on such a complex scene and still keep it looking so loose and fresh.

Incredible.

Incredible Mark - your attention to detail is exceptional.

Super handling of watercolour. Great composition and tones

I can only say stunning Mark! I wouldn’t know where to start on such a complex scene, but you’ve handled it beautifully.

Excellent painting and beautifully painted.

Complex but full of life and contrast

Another great painting from you Mark

Such detail, excellent painting Mark

Thank you for looking at this everybody, it was a delight to paint.

Wonderful handling of such complex details. Your markings are ingenious and your paintings always full of interest and purpose.

Missed this one Mark, great painting and as you say these places are an excellent source of painting subjects. I don’t know why but the one in the high vis and clip board looks as if they are a health and safety officer, I do love a painting which contains a narrative element.

Wonderful Mark. I love this.

Cross to the West side of the Arun in Littlehampton and you’ll find a few boatyards full of interesting painting subjects. I stood on the bridge and watched this backlit scene and knew it would make a good watercolour if I could just untangle the detail. This is 31 x 55cm on Millford paper with Daniel Smith paints. Still wondering though what they were discussing in that meeting.
