Lovely softness to this Marjorie.

Wonderful use of colour. A very relaxing painting to look at!

Beautiful, peaceful painting, Marjorie - you paint landscapes very well...

Lovely soft to feel to this one Marjorie.

That’s a delight Marjorie! I love the foreground and those purple shadows. It looks as though you really enjoyed this one?

Such an inviting scene, so light and captured the season really well.

Some rather nice painterly marks going on here Marjorie, gorgeous light and love the palette.

Really like the soft colours in this and the brushstrokes are excellent.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments - Tessa, I did enjoy this, because it was a continuous process so I stayed "in the zone". But starting off, the first hour, I didn't enjoy because I'd forgotten to put down a colour on the canvas. I hate working straight on to a white base, it seems to take forever for the paint to build up.

Soft, delicate and magical, with an ethereal quality that invites the viewer to step inside. The palette is beautifully understated and I did wonder if you'd used your water based oils; and did you complete this wet in wet? Beautiful work, Marjorie. Bri

What a lovely comment Brian, and yes and yes - wet in wet and water based oils ( Cobra ).

Love the varied tones and softness of your greens Marjorie, a beautiful scene.

Beautiful use of colour Marjorie

Thankyou very much, Val and Shaun.

This is gorgeous, Marjorie, I want to sit in the soft shade you've created here. Lovely work

Thankyou Thalia, it's a very peaceful place.

Almost missed this one, Marjorie. I like much the softness of your brush strokes. Una piacevole veduta.
