Beautiful portrait.

Oh no, I hadn’t heard. Poor man. I don’t think he was ever likely to come out alive, and will we ever know how he died. I remember these from previously Marjorie, excellent.

Great portraits, Marjorie, and a sad news!

I’d just seen the breaking news about his death. Why did he go back! Of course he will have had reasons I would never know about but I feel so sad and shocked.

Yes he was brave to go back but… 🤷‍♀️

Shocking news Marjorie. A very brave man indeed. Your portraits are a good likeness.

Super portraits Marjorie and such sad news.

You captured a determination in his eyes Marjorie. Touching portraits.

Excellent portraits of a brave man .

Dreadful, but inevitable news! Excellent portraits, Marjorie!

Great portraits Marjorie. Such shocking but not unexpected news.

Superbly painted, Marjorie. Such sad news!

Great portraits Marjorie but such tragic news.

Beautifully drawn. A man of great principles and one willing to stand up for injustice. Such a sad day!

Well drawn and painted images of an incredibly brave man. RIP

Great portraits Marjorie. An incredibly brave man. There was an inevitability about his death from the moment he returned to Russia. The latest in a line of opposition leaders that have died under this regime. May he rest in peace.

I've a feelimg these images may become as iconic as those depicting Guevara and Lenin. Beautifully captured, especially the graphite study to the left.

Beautiful portraits
