Very brave using that very colourful and patterned cloth Marjorie but it works so well and the glaze/shine on those front dishes is spot on.

It's a cracker, Marjorie. I also look forward to the finished article. Looks great so far. Bri

Beautiful painting, Marjorie - it looks finished to me! I love the bowls in particular...

Thanks Helen, and Val -I just wanted to paint something colourful. Thanks Val-Irene, and Brian - just a bit more on the cloth, maybe on the pot, a little. Jan, I don't want to overdo it ( my habit, usually) but the top right needs tidying a bit.

Looks great and cannot see where you can go, but look forward to the finished picture - love the sturdy pot and the dishes and everything else.

Great colours and composition Marjorie.

It looks absolutely grand to me Marjorie, you set up some wonderful still life compositions.

Very nice, lovely detail Marjorie

Another wonderful painting, Marjorie. Beautiful colours and composition.

I think it's a great piece, I particularly love the two bowls in the forefront. I think we all experience this gamut of emotions every time we paint Marjorie, makes you question why on earth we do it?!

Just wonderful Marjorie.

I know the feeling Marjorie what a beauty

Maureen, Carole, Fiona, David, many thanks. And also Cesare, Russell, Sandra and Dennis - it's comforting to know I'm not alone.

Beautiful composition and lovely colours Marjorie. Great painting!

It looks lovely Marjorie, I don't know what else you are going to add but it looks finished to me!

Thanks Mia and Margaret, I've edited it now and this is the finished one.

Thankyou very much Beatrice.

Oil on canvas, 40cmx50cm. Set this up to paint on Monday. Today I went through a range of emotions - enjoyment, frustration, disappointment, headache, then while clearing away used my fingers to paint. Not all finished yet, all but, but am much happier, though exhausted!
