You made the right choice and did a great job of it Marjorie. I had no choice and as a result tidied up after Christmas.

Gee, how cute is that! I imagine quite tricky to paint also? Know what you mean about tidying up after Christmas Marjorie, but not a bad task while storm Henk rages outside!

Thanks Paul…never put off till tomorrow?

I love it. Delightful.

Thanks Tessa and Denise - the pressure’s off when you do something small and for fun - just to paint!

Lovely picture Marjorie 🙂

Nice work

So cute Marjorie, lovely painting and fun too! The children will love this painting of M and Mrs, well done!

Fantastic Marjorie! I've been meaning to do something like this for some time, there are so many children's toys in our house to arrange in a still-life and now I've seen this I feel inspired.

I agree. You made the right choice! A lovely painting of a little curio. Very well done!

Love them Marjorie.

Good choice Marjorie. Painting should always come before tidying up- unfortunately it doesn’t always happen in that order.

So charming and beautifully painted!

Thank you everyone😄. My youngest granddaughter (21 months) got her hands on them this Christmas…I was holding my breath but all was well, quick diversion worked.

Am very glad you didn't do the tidying up. I always love your paintings.

Looks like a fun thing to do. I like it.

So darned cute… and something completely different Marjorie!

What a delight and nicely painted

Love it Marjorie- and great choice!

I never thought I would ever see Basil Brush and Kermit sitting together Marjorie. The colouring is excellent.

Thanks again everyone, I enjoyed painting them.

Acrylic on board. A little wooden couple on a settee. It was either this or tidy up after Christmas.
