Extremely good - wow, that's some art class you go to!

This is excellent Marjorie.

The colour harmony is good Marjorie.

The title sounds as though I caught it! Local fishermen in Amble, Northumberland. Thanks for commenting Heather, Julie, Stephen and John.

This looks great. It reminds me of an adult education art course early in my painting "career". I'd love to see what happens if you decide to finish it in oils.

Wonderful colours, Marjorie, and strong shapes, making it a very dramatic piece, nicely done.

Thanks Gerry and Bobbie. It was a free workshop raising the awareness of the importance of sea grass conservation around our coast and the creatures who depend upon it. Bobbie, I continued a little with oils, softening transition of colour etc but enjoyed adding a bit of brilliance to the eye. I’ll post that bit, it’s a pity we can’t just add a photo footnote.

You achieved the shiny freshness there Marjorie.

This morning at the club we all painted a variety of sea life in acrylic. The lobsters and crabs were still alive and will be returned to the sea. I chose this cod but didn’t have time to spend on the shells. I fancy finishing it off in oils. A very absorbing morning.
