Love this. I don’t care what kind of flowers they are…they are flowers! Super work.

I love the softer areas combined with the sharp lines. It’s really lovely

Beautiful, Marjorie - lovely contrast between the misty flowers and shiny metal jug!

Beautifully done Marjorie. Dare I guess hydrangeas, but as Lew said, they are flowers.

Many thanks Lewis ( chicken!), Diana, Anne and Mark - 10/10 Mark!

Super colouring Marjorie, and that metal jug so well observed and painted.

Lovely!

More wonderful frothy Hydrangeas……another winner Marjorie.

It’s lovely Majorie could be lilac I like your loose style and of colour of the flowers and then the contrasting definition of the jug .😊

Great painting Marjorie.

Ah 'Stuart Grangers,' lovely Marjorie

Just gorgeous

Thanks folks! Ha ha, Russell, I remember your “ Stuart Graingers”!

Lewis is right. Doesn't matter what kind of flowers. It's the bright profusion of color coming out of the beautifully rendered pitcher that brings warmth and joy. Beautiful painting.

Beautiful Still-life Marjorie the pewter jug, and petals look amazing and it's certainly impressive!

Beautiful hydrangeas and I'd hang this lovely painting on my wall any time!

An unusual close up and a spontaneous, burst of colour and light Marjorie. A very arresting painting.

Christine, Lynne, Angela, Heather and Carole - thank you for your lovely comments.

Lovely floral work Marjorie, well done.

Fabulous colours and light with sharp and diffused edges. You’ve made a great job of those daisies

Oil on card, an old one which I’ve added to and altered. It will have a wide mount and go behind glass. ( Hope you can work out what kind of flowers……)
