Like this a lot Marjorie particularly that clay pot!

Beautiful blues and tender greens, balanced with the orange, which boosts the pot towards use Marjorie. A good piece of colour.

Lovely painting Marjorie.

Your pot is amazing Marjorie, I can feel the texture of it in my head.

A beauty 😍

This is a beautiful painting Marjorie - such a lovely composition too.

Definitely brightens up a full day. Lovely.

This is very tactile Marjorie, particularly the pot and orange. Beautifully balanced with the blue material. Love it.

Thanks very much everyone, I love this old pot, bought it in a second hand shop years ago….it’s flaking a bit but it sets my imagination going….the Med and sunshine!

Thanks Carole - it’s been a grey wet day here as I’m sure you know!

Super painting Marjorie. Beautifully done.

Thanks, Spencer and George 😁

Yes, obviously the clay pot is the star of the show here, but the whole thing gels together so nicely, the colours, and complimentary background help.

Super brushwork, Marjorie!

Superb textures on the pot and I love the way you’ve painted the tonal changes of the cloth dropping over the edge

A proper still life! Complimentary colours and not over complicated.

Many thanks Martin, Alan, Thalia and Tessa .

I love your still life paintings, Marjorie. This one beautiful, that pot just takes pride of place.

Superb Marjorie. Great textures.

Fabulous painting Marjorie, great colour combinations and the texture of the pot is brilliantly done.

an excellent still life Marjorie; great use of colour.

Ellen, David, Russell and Mark - thanks for taking the time to look and comment, it’s appreciated.

Wonderful pot Marjorie!

Super still life. I like this a lot.

Great complimentary colours, the pot stands out very well Marjorie.

There is a gutsy and interesting background to the textured clay pot. Such an interesting composition. I like the black/deep blue shadow forms under the beautifully painted bowls. No hesitancy there! Lovely painting.

Just fancied a bit of colour as it’s dull and rainy today. Used a painting of my own as ref. Oil, brush and palette knife.
