WOW - just logged on and you are there - very very clever. Love everything about it. Great tattoo. Best wishes Jeannette x

One more of your fabulous women!

Best one yet! Love it. Hmmm, wonder how hubby would feel about me getting a tatoo?!!!!!

Of course I'll tell you. I paint the background first pouring watercolors on the paper, and then, depending on how it turns out, I draw the figure. Because I started locating the eyes in a clear zone, her mouth ended up in a splash of blue. Maybe I should do the drawing first? Thank you for your interest. PS: I had trouble accessing you in the site (as with other artists). I had to google you to find you. And I found Margaret McDougall in Facebook. Is that you? PSS: I love the tattoo lady!

Thank you so much Margaret. You are very kind. I am starting to show and sell my work, although it is very difficult to understand the art market in this place. I just moved to Miami, and I'd say that it is a different planet, much less academic and extremely abstract and bold. So I am adjusting little by little. I had only 2 shows so far although successful and I got to enter the permanent collection of the local Art Center. So I am on my way...I am somewhat frustrated because my realistic work doesn't get the interest that I expected. ps: funny that there is a Margaret McDougall in Facebook!

Thank you for your comments Margaret, but I'm LOVING your style of art, it's fresh and I find it very clear and strong with great lines.. this one is really striking, great stuff!!

I had a look at your portfolio, it's very impressive. Very illustrative.

Your kind comments on my (for which many thanks) paintings prompted me to seek you out. I love your very individual style and feeling of enchantment. I particularly like this one which has a very strong design and to me a deeper meaning ...perhaps a fem-fatale?

About the Artist
Margaret McDougall

My art has changed since I was last on this site. I need to move forward again and Painters Online helped me with my art before so, hopefully, I shall be inspired again.
