Hello Margaret, Your clouds are particularly well done, I like the mistiness of the mountains. Like Chris says - the mermaid in the foreground and perhaps the water I would have given a little more tone. If this is your first attempt at landscape then you have done very well.

Hello Margaret warmth in the foreground but then that would completely change the paintings feeling which I like a lot.

Hi Margaret, missed this yesterday as I was out most of the day. I think it is lovely. The sky and the hills are excellent. The sea could maybe benefit from a bit of dry brushwork to give it a bit of sparkle but try not to overdo it as I tend to do! The mermaid is great, as I've said before I wish I had your imagination.
