One of the iconic Bettys cafe and tea rooms. Wonderful old fashioned style and service in our modern! world. This on is on the High Street at Northallerton. I started this 'pen and wash' sketch standing in front of the building not realising how much wash it was going to get. I was 3/4 through the drawing when the heavens opened & the rain came down by the bucketful. Exit stage left, dried the paper & headed home. Finished later. St Cuthberts Mill 140lb NOT Bockingford.
