Maidstone Buses on Maidstone High Street
Two of the standard buses used by Maidstone in the 1960's, the Leyland PD2a. These two are at the time of the two colour systems. The Ochre and Yellow was the Corporation colours and the Fiesta Blue and Cream was done for the trolleybus replacement buses. A lovely busy street scene, with the Bus Inspector at the stand talking to bus crews prior to going on duty. From a time long gone. Watercolour about A3 size.
