Beautifully done, the most important thing about painting owls is getting the eyes to look good , you have achieved that really well and make your owl look alive.

At first glance of the thumb nail it looks like a beautiful painting of an owl and then, when you click on it, you see all the intricate detail and patterns that go to make up this stunning painting. Exceptional work Marilyn.

Really beautiful - I especially like the colours and the patterns on the head of the owl.

Thank you so much everyone for your lovely comments. The downside of painting this way is that the thumbnail photos make the image blurry because of the small details and I believe it is those that really make the painting.
