It's a great landmark, Margaret. Nicely done watercolour with very subtle colour. My husband was in the Pollock Halls of Residence ....many many years ago.

Margaret, I love the subtle colours you have used. Great to have a view like that from the window.

Great subtle and delicate colour palette, Margaret.

Thank you Marjorie. My husband was there too (also many years ago!) Thank you Ron. Yes, I am very lucky with that view (though admittedly to see that much of the hill I have to stand on a chair! - we do have a better view of Salisbury Crags and can see right across to the Castle! Thank you Mia.

Love this Margaret, beautiful subtle washes....and what a view! We haven’t had any snow, I’m very disappointed, only a little on the hills.

Beautifully painted Margaret.

Thank you Fiona. I'm surprise you haven't had snow! We didn't get a lot but it hung around for days - freezing every night and refreshing a bit occasionally! Has finally gone - though having seen forecast not sure how long for. Thank you Carole.

Nicely done Margaret. You said in your comment on Lewis's latest you wished you could delete/edit a comment. While you can't edit you can delete. It's a bit fiddly though. Go into "my account", then click on "my comments". Find the comment and there is a button that says "delete". Usually easier just to add an explanatory comment but there are occasions I've wanted to delete, grammar/spelling/didn't quite "get" the painting at first.

That is really helpful Sandra - thanks very much for letting me know. I find it particularly difficult not to make errors on phone! :)

I'm lucky enough to have this view Arthur's seat from our windows. Watercolour.
