Still life

This is lovely, Margaret. Great bright colours.

Like the colours and use of the black Margaret. The flowers in the jar very effective, and the fruit add an element of balance to the composition.

Lovely colours you used in this appealing still life Margaret.

Love the way you’ve painted the flower. Is it a geranium? I also like the diagonal brush marks uniting the pears with the vase of flowers.

Lovely still life, Margaret.

Thank you Mia :) Thank you John - it is actually indigo but must admit it does look black online :) Thank you Carole :) Thank you Carole :) No it isn't a geranium but must admit it does look like it - went for colour not accuracy! The peachy coloured bit is a couple of roses but no detail could be seen; the rest were I think gerbena? Thank you Cesare :)

love this one Margaret, really well done.

Thought I should try posting something on to new website! Art classes started again today so here is one from today - watercolour and water soluble wax crayon (used as crayon without water) on A3 CP paper (cropped)
