Beautiful painting, you have cought the mood of the Isle of Skye, I have been there a few times, love the quirky cottages, Margaret. :)

Thank you Alan. Thank you Annick - must admit the cottages are not accurate! Thank you Carole - a lovely place - best probably in Spring - a less busy than in high season - and, very important (!), usually less midges! (although there were quite a few around in our last couple of days)

Was in Skye last week and this has been worked up from one of my sketches (plus a back-up photo) - acrylic on an old A1 (ish) mounting board which I ghessoed..
