Wow what a wonderful painting and you really have painted it beautifully, the dog is superb, the water and wet sand is absolutely stunning . It’s one of the finest dog portraits I have seen for a long time . If this is working out of your depth then keep doing it.

Took the picture of Lulu at Marble Hill, Donegal. The owner hence asked me to paint her. Water very tricky, in a bit over my head but I persevered.
