Great - looks typically dry.

Really like the way you use ink as a tonal base, Mike, gives your work a very distinctive look.

Wonderful, the colour palette is great and the painting is exactly what the title says.

my thanks for the encouragement. I believe I may have mentioned before that , for me , tonal values are what make or break a painting

the final combination of the tonal under painting and a watercolour overpainting. Local scenery at the end of a dry summer period - perhaps exaggerated for dryness !!
