Interesting as ever to see the two stages. This one surprised me...the difference made by the yellow in the sky is striking. Great composition.

completion of the painting using water colour. General purpose paper - including acrylic so has a good resist to the surface - makes it harder to use and control watercolour "Lament and answer" As you are now so , once were we. As you are now we , too , shall be.
