opaque watercolour ( gouache) and a tad of watercolour in the sky. This is near Cromwell , South Island of NZ. Tourist trap area these days , I remember seeing it 50+ years ago - had it to myself in those days - Fruit growing area preferred it that way as well. The biggest part of the township disappeared when they dammed the area to create Lake Dunstan. Progress !!??!! Fruit growing area cherries and apricots in particular
