by golly , you were up and about early. Yes, I reckon you would enjoy the technique. The negative painting with the resist to achieve the effect - often different to what was expected.(can be touched up). I have ( I think) gone slightly further from the original concept by using different tonal strengths of ink in the first instance. Have always concentrated on getting the correct tonal values in a painting believing that tone will carry colour differences/substitution but not the other way around.around

Another attractive painting, Mike, I really like the results of this technique, especially with your distinctive limited palette. (I tried a couple after the advice you kindly gave me some time ago, but have done none since, must give it another go!)
