A great atmosphere, tonal values, and counter change. I agree, eye catching, and pleasing :)

Another cracker, the dark trees look splendid.

I really like this one, Mike - a beautiful winter scene.

This is particularly good Mike, the trees are superb.

Super painting, Mike, love your greens.

Pleasing to the soul to view as well, well done Mike

I can understand why you are so pleased with this, its simplicity is so eye catching, lovely work.

Lovely painting

This really works so well Mike. Super use of limited palette.

Love this Mike, fabulous and striking .

my thanks to all for the kind comments. 4 yellows ,1 blue , 1 brown , and the Indian ink applied at 4 strength levels (have covered this technique before). Again , a painting that just flowed for me

Very eye-catching - really like it.
