A lovely scene Mike, nicely painted.

Living memories Mike, I like reading about your life down under, and even better with pictures. A very pleasing view and painting.

A very well constructed composition. Foreground, middle distance including focal point, and background combine to give this painting great interest.

Really like this Mike, especially having visited the area in the past.

my thanks to everyone . so much material to choose from.

This was the view I saw everyday from the tannery I first worked at ,here in NZ. It is in the Otago harbour and leads down to Dunedin where the harbour was located. Beautiful scenery and the boatshed was the first painting that I made in NZ. That was in oils and is still "somewhere" around the house. 50 years plus I am repeating the scene - things have grown somewhat in the intervening years.
