Love the interplay of wet in wet and the delicate mixture of colours on the paper, then the use of wet on dry and tonal shades to give the painting a feeling of depth and distance. The central tree work is stunning again with the interplay of tonal effects to give depth and shape. I totally agree that it should be in the exhibition. Although I love your previous work, think this is your best so far. Your delicate touch reminds me of a local artist in Cambridgeshire, named Ken Bolton.

I agree with Peter, lovely painting

A very fine gallery. This painting is certainly one of the best with its balanced composition and the subtle colours.

This was accepted for Patchings Leisure Painter exhibition. I must say I was suprised, as I thought that it was the weakest of the three submitted, but it is often the case, and we all see pictures differently.
