Beautiful subtle colours

Extremely good and what a lovely small size too!

I always like your palette Lynne and this is no exception. Very calming.

Lovely picture Lynne.

A beautiful Still-life , the colours look lovely, nice textures reached too!

Lovely. I wish I could work that small so well

I appreciate all your individual comments, Georgiana, Heather, Marjorie, Stephen, Angela, and Rod. Thanks for the palette thumbs up, Marjorie. I use complementary colors to tone down or grey a color, but I also mix ultramarine blue and raw umber in piles of dark to light and use whatever "pile" suits to grey down a color. It's always a challenge.

I know, Rod. 8 by 8 inches is the smallest canvas I have ever painted on. Small pitcher. Small canvas. (I hope you aren't thinking centimeters 8x8.)

A charming painting!

I love "charming." Thank you, Anne.

I appreciate your comment, Valerie. Thank you.

Wonderful delicate still life

It is such a lovely still life, full of light and life!

Thanks Cecilia and Rhia. I didn't think of "delicate." I appreciate your comment. That is my mother's Lowestoft bowl. And loved, Rhia, full of light & life."

Beautifully painted Lynne.

I appreciate your upper comment, Romila.

Studio still life. A friend gave me this small pitcher for my birthday. Flowers from my garden. 8" x 8" canvas; water-soluble oils.
