I painted over the first Dusk at the Blue Ridge. I was not happy with the simplicity of the design. I'm trying not to be too "perfectly realistic" here, to keep the strokes fresh, to create a more abstract feeling of the scene. It looks better from a distance. 12" x 12" on canvas; water-soluble oils.
