A Palette of Papaver
This painting was an experiment dabbling with a palette knife and using a variety of mixed media for texture and to thicken the acrylic paint. As part of my abstract moment, I wanted to portray these beautiful Papaver Orientale, from my garden, in a different colour to their delicate soft pink, to complement the medium being used. Was fun.
