Superbly understated with a just few real darks to make it sing- some may be tempted to suggest more details to the flowers but not I.

Thanks Michael. I'd thought the same but find that sometimes I get scared of adding more detail when I'm reasonably happy with the painting and feel that I might spoil it. I probably will when I've plucked up the courage!

Yep, decided to add more detail to the flowers which look a little flat but not just yet. lol

A very different feel to the first one. This one is light filled, understated as Michael said, and very elegant. It is nice to see you tackle the same subject in different ways. Now on to have a look at No 3!
