Lovely sketch - like the energetic figure - like the bright pink of the house (what colour is that?) I don't think it looks rushed at all. I think you have capitalised on working quickly to avoid an over studied look or any hint of over-working. Another super piece of work, Louise.

thank you Thea and Michael. Definitely not overworked Thea, 15 minutes max..lol.. The house is a pink colour in real life, rather eye catching, which appealed to me. I used Permanent Rose W&N. Michael, I've been trying to catch that Mancunian character so I'm glad that you said that!

This morning's quick sketch, perhaps a little too rushed! Washable marker pen and watercolour on a spare scrap of card. I'll probably do a 'proper' painting of this scene now that I have a feel for the subject..
