You're branching out, gel! But still your design background shows through; lovely juxtaposition of colours in this one, and I do like those cars (which I should have worried myself silly over, but you've just banged 'em in, and they're all the better for it).

I love those cars too and the lovely bright colours on houses! Good collection Louise!

I'm sure that I'm not the only one who sometimes feels a little unsure as to whether a painting works. Then I receive two comments like these from artists who I admire and think to myself, 'mm, well it's ok then'!!.. lol. Thank you both, I do appreciate your rather good comments!

I promise I am not just being lazy, but I agree with Robert and Satu. This one is my favourite so far.

This reminds me of Nottingham on a sunny morning, walking up a street and there are white high buildings well behind, great Louise as I love nottingham.

Even although this is very loose and impressionistic, I feel that I could just step into this painting and walk down the street. The sense of scale is enhanced by your using pale and misty colours to show the high rise blocks and the tree works well to draw your eye down the street. The parked cars add to the reality of the scene. Getting better all the time, Louise!

Thank you Carole and Thea!

I agree with all the above. The picture is more defined and the colour is stronger which is results in a interesting urban scene-lovely

Strong and powerful, another painting that makes an impact.
