City Life

Like this -good busy scene and interesting use of line and wash

I really like your City Life paintings Louise, they have a sort of Lowry feel about them, the colours at least, or perhaps it's just the Manchester landscape!

Another evocative gem.

These are getting better and better!! Great use of the pen and excellently placed washes. The people are marvellous and really add to the excitement of the scene. You just seem to get it right every time with this series of paintings.

Lots of life and movement in this one Louise, works well.

It's got just that jostling, crowded, and to me slightly alienating feel (I don't like town and crowds), that so typify walking through the city.

I have missed quite a few of your June collection and just going through them. I love this one with all the people on the street and everything outlined with black. Very, very good!!
