The Northern Quarter

These paintings of scenes in Manchester are really good. You manage to convey the solidness of the buildings, the way they crowd together and overlap in a city and the busy vibrancy of the atmosphere. Love the touch of the 'no entry' sign - makes it all very real. Another excellent one, Louise.
