This is excellent Louise, I love it

Louise, it's super douper! :)

What I really like about this painting is the variation in tone and colour you have got into the various sections. The purple bit below the dark sky is lovely. I sense that this style and subject is getting a looser and looser treatment from you - evolving all the time - which makes it exciting to see the progression. This painting also has a real strength to it and, as always, such a good esign element. Super work, Louise!

Thank you all. Thea, lots of wet paint and masking fluid used! (unfortunately, one ruined brush!) I enjoy doing this sort of painting. I can never be sure how they'll turn out. Fiona, Kevin, Petra, and Sarah, thank you all and as for Charles, how could I possibly erase you :)

I like this strong painting; as you know, I hate masking fluid - but then, I don't use your techniques: you employ it brilliantly; it's just that (referring to previous conversations!) I don't think it's of any use in many techniques in which it's employed and that some use it for the sake of it, as it were. Works wonderfully here, though!

Many thanks Robert, I used the dreaded stuff on the moon and the water! I use it sometimes as you know, especially for water just to wind you up :) :) Nice to hear from you, you haven't posted for a while. Yes, I noticed! Seriously though, I do value your opinions, you talk a lot of sense.

Wow, Louise, your creativity is immense. Here I especially love the colours melting one into another. Fabulous!!

Great use of colour and such a strong style - l love it !

Thanks Mia and Debs. Mia, The "colours melting" is what I love about watercolour!

Wow! This is so atmospheric. A wonderful palette and the soft effect are superb. I really admire the progression in your style; always something to surprise us! Great!

Thanks Avril, I'm not too sure whether I have a style of painting. Sometimes, I wish that I could concentrate on a particular style until I master it but I'm always chopping and changing, wanting to try something different! I'm not sure whether this is a good thing :)

Ooooo I like this! Powerful use of colour.

Ahhhh the moon is back, I love it. I think this is my favourite. Love the colours Louise.

Thanks Carole, that old moon is never far away. Neither is "the moon stamp" as my neighbour calls it :)
