Venice

Well, Louise. This is something different! Love the colours of the dark gondola's against the warm buildings. Mind you, I don't have a Venice painting yet (!!!), although I was there some 20 years ago and just took a lot of photo's. So maybe, one day I'll try...

You've shamed me - I haven't got one Louise. Not sure I would ever do it the justice you have achieved here. Not an easy subject because of it's popularity but you have done it a style of your own which makes it stand out - well done.

I haven't got one either....and if I had, it wouldn't be a patch on yours Louise. I think it's the shape of the gondola's that puts me off....I would just never get it!!!

Well - that's taken me aback - I would never have thought this was one of yours, Louise!! Very different style. I love it - the buildings are so impressionistic, but with strong definition in the distinctive shapes of the gondolas. It has a lovely historic feeling to it as well. Lady of many talents! P.S. I've done a Venice one - it's on my gallery. As you say - we all have to do one!
