This seems different for you Louise . I usually expect to see all your wonderful people. This is full of interesting shapes and fabulous colours .

You are so good at these scenes Louise. As Sylvia says, interesting shapes and colours.

Good to see you back Louise, and an unusual but appealing work. Nice going..

Thank you Sylvia, Sandra and Jim. Sylvia, my girls will be back soon hopefully as apparently they went to Aintree Racecourse! There again, if the weather's good tomorrow as forecast then the garden might beckon and any painting postponed :)

A little more abstract than usual, Louise. Love the reflections. Super work.

I'm loving this Louise. The crisp layers, expressive colours and suggestive dry brush marks make it very attractive.

Love this rainy day Louise, so well described in your flowing watery colours.

There is a gorgeous red colour with granulation running into the other washes, Expressive and impulsive stuff Louise.

This is exciting Louise! Love how it runs off the paper, and the limited palette.

Many thanks Lewis, Ibolya, Carole, Alan and Fiona :)

What more can I add to everyone's comment! Super...lovely and crisp but drippy too.Utterly gorgeous!

Interesting! But no girls. Look forward to seeing the girls at Aintree!

Love looseness of this abstract and the colours just blend perfectly.

Thanks Thalia, Maureen and Ellen :)

Looked at this for a longtime Louise. All the marks and blobs holding each other up. The colours work very well finished of with slashes of Chinese white. I was never really keen on London but have always had a certain affection for Manchester. Thanks.

And thanks to you too John. Whenever I visit my daughter in London, it always strikes me how people seem to be more friendly in the North. I can chat to complete strangers here whereas in London, I just get funny looks if I so much as smile at someone I don't know especially on the tube. Shame about the weather though, it's definitely warmer down there :)
