Castlefield, Manchester

Caught the Victorian feel of this still busy transport centre. Often glimpse this view from the tram, since the tram came the area has had quite a face lift.

Love this bold painting, Louise, great pen work and colours - and the touch of red finishes it off nicely!

Very solid and strong. When you wait a while before you rework something, you always seem to know what to change ( speaking generally). This is a very good reworking, are you glad you did?

When I look back at some older paintings of mine that didn't really work for me, I think, well, why not try and improve them Marjorie. My attitude is that I have nothing to loose and maybe a lot to gain. I'm happy with this one now :)
