This must have been so difficult Louise but what a result!

It was tricky Christine. Not exactly sure why I tried to draw it except that I could see the table from our patio doors. When I say from life, I don't actually mean outside ..LOL

Ohh - tricky one, but hasn't it worked well. I love all the wobbly chairs, the legs that don't quite match - what better way to take what is actually quite a boring subject and turn it into artwork with attitude!

Funnily enough they don't look near to collapse at all but utterly charming and inviting! Very well done Louise!

Thank you Thea and Satu..well, they are quite old. Would you believe me if I said that they're exactly like this? Thought not!!

Well done for even thinking of attempting this!

I'd say they look pretty sturdy to me, Louise! Good solid work, I say!

Thank you Debs and Seok. re the ads that are appearing under our paintings. At the moment, the one under this one is for a retailer of oak furniture.!!

Look good to me Louise, you are all very good at this one line art!

That is exceptionally good, a hard enough composition when looking at the paper nevermind not looking at it. Sure you didn't take a peek through a half closed eye Louise LOL

Many thanks Carole and Val. I confess I did Val. I like the easy option, no point in making it all too difficult. I tried the 'no looking' technique and soon realised that you have to glance at the paper! I've kept to one line though (mostly)..now I've noticed that I forgot one of the table legs..LOL

This one wasn't easy, too many legs and angles to draw! From life though, a wooden garden table and chairs which here look near to collapse..LOL
