City Locks 2

This seems your most abstract picture?? But I can see the lock and the city. I get confused about what's abstract and what's not...but I know what I like, and I like this.

Thank you Sandra. I used masking fluid over the original painting and damaged the moon when peeling it of. This resulted in me using white gouache over the moon and then, giving it a pale pinkish wash. Luckily it worked out well. Moon restored..lol

Painting's all about something to look at and admire. This is both and would look great on a white wall. Nice work Louise.

If I try reworking a watercolour I end up with a muddy mess so I admire you for producing such an attractive and colourful painting second time round Louise. ( Though I am sure the original was just as eye catching )

Fabulous cityscape, wonderful palette and the ubiquitous moon. A perfect combination, Louise!

Like the dark sky and the large pink moon, buildings and reflections have a mosaic feel.
