Lovely Louise reminds me of one of my flying dreams

I know what you mean Dennis. It's pretty high up and I don't really like heights. lol

A birds eye view, really nice perspective. Will make an interesting piece.

Still looks good perspective to me and a great view Louise.

Almost the basis for an abstract ...interesting view point . Where exactly were you hanging out ?.

Thanks Andre, I thought the same :) Thank you Carole All the shapes appealed to me Sylvia. It's a view from the Manchester House restaurant where my previous sketch was. For those who might know the city, Bridge Street is shown on the left side. It wasn't the place to sketch, especially after all those drinks..I took a camera. The place is high up so I guessed the views would be good :)

So you and immediate, it is smashing Louise

Your quickies are the best Louise, accuracy is not a requirement as you well know.

I love pen and wash, as you probably know, Louise, and this is a beautiful example of it. Well done.

Thank you Mia and Alan. Photorealism isn't my thing. I'm happy to use my own photographs as reference but never try to reproduce the image realistically. There doesn't seem to be any point in doing that whatever the medium used :)

Thank you Margaret :)

Nice perspective

Another very quick pen and wash. Not at all accurate I know as it took little time and no pre drawing. I quite like the scene though and might use it as the basis for another painting. 20 cm x 20 cm on khadi paper.
