I like the way you are pushing the boundaries of your work Louise.

Wow, Louise! Beau-ti-ful. I agree with Stephen.

This just jumps out of the gallery...... love the two colours and discrete blending. A super piece.

This jumped out at me too. Love the colours and shapes, It's fascinating seeing where that bus journey is taking you!

Many thanks Stephen, Mia, Avril and Christine. . I haven't been on a bus for years..lol... I do appreciate your encouraging comments but think that this is a one off!

Wonderful semi-abstract painting Louise! Fantastic colours!!

What Satu?? Semi?? Now I know how Fiona felt..lol

I like the colours Louise, reminds me of some majestic building must be the eye-level?

Phew!! Does this mean I don't have to do the abstract Louise??!!! Love the colours and the runs, I do admire your courage with paint and subjects. I must also add.....nice one Satu! Lol.

Thanks Carole! Thanks also Fiona but haven't you already started one? ...lol

Started one? I'm still trying to get my head around how to paint a cave, NOT to look like a cave, but still be a cave! (Hysterical laughter)

Lovely colour combination and contrast between geometric shapes and organic washes. It seems to point towards things like rust which I think is a good reflection of the city - how even the pristine geometric buildings are subject to wear and tear and the natural elements.

So strong - like towers pushing their way skywards. I am in awe of your skill with colours as you have chosen exactly the right ones to compliment your abstract design.

Many thanks Joseph and Thea, much appreciated.

Looks really good :-)

Thank you Amanda and Gudrun!

I'm just beginning to peep into the abstract world to try & understand it better -& this watercolour caught my eye - I love the tones and shapes & watermarks . I do feel a connection to it - so thank you Louise

Thank you Lynne. Abstracts for me are all about shapes and colour. My thoughts are that you don't know unless you try!

After talking about abstracts yesterday with Fiona, forgive me Fiona! I had to try one myself. This is loosely based on the tram sketch.
