I like this one the best of the two Louise, lovely colours again!

I like this one too.

I too prefer this one, maybe because of the bolder colors and the straighter lines of the canal.

This one has more or a late afternoon feel and light. Once again, such a strong design statement and I think on balance I like this one the best of the two because of the colours, but that is not to diminish the other one as that has a statement of it's own to make.

Yes, I tend to agree. I prefer this simplified one. It has a stronger design and use of colour.

Love the variation of washes and hues, Louise. I like this one better, but the other one also works, standing on its own. I love the boldness of your brushwork for both.

You do get some wonderful colour combinations into these paintings - I really like them.
