A simple, clean painting with impact. Cool, fresh and three dimentional. I suspect you have done this one with just blue and yellow, Louise, with some subtle mixing, as well as clever use of the white paper.

Clever to keep the houses so simple, and yet so vital to the composition. As a picker-up of small trifles, I particularly like that gorgeous blue mix to the right and centre of the sky: not too fussy, but so much better than a simple and bland blue backwash.

This is different and really lovely. I adore the colours you have used and I like the fact that there is just one building to concentrate on. Super foreground interest as well. I marvel at your inventiveness with this theme which has a running thread but each painting is so individual.
